Ringio Desktop is software for your computer that can help you visualize who is calling by showing Smart Screen Pops when a call comes into your business, whether it is a call for an employee or a department. With Ringio Desktop, making phone calls and visually controlling them -putting a caller on hold, transferring it to another person– is easy. With the Google CRM Sync integration, Ringio Desktop helps you manage all your contacts in real time.
Ringio Mobile for Android is an application for your Android device. Ringio Mobile turns your smart-phone into a voice control center. Access, modify and process all your communications activities, see if your colleagues are online, and effortlessly make and receive business phone calls. The mobile app is ideal for sales people, consultants and entrepreneurs who spend most of their time on the road. Ringio Mobile is always in sync with Ringio Desktop so it’s easy to switch between the small and the big screen.
Ringio is an online service. To begin receiving phone calls through Ringio, all you need is a phone. Ringio works with cell phones, landlines, VOIP phones such as Vonage, Skype online numbers… any 10-digit phone number is enough for Ringio to send you phone calls.
If you would like to take advantage of some great features such as Smart Screen Pops, Google CRM Sync, Shared Address Book or Smart Presence you need to use Ringio Desktop or Ringio Mobile. Ringio Desktop runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Ringio Mobile runs on Android smartphones such as the Google Nexus One, the Motorola Droid, HTC Dream or Motorola Cliq.
You don’t need a phone system to use Ringio. Just a phone for each employee that you would like to route calls to.
If you have phone system like a PBX, Netcentrex or Hosted VOIP, Ringio is designed to enhance the solution you already have and not to replace it. If you have such a system, foward your calls to Ringio. Then Ringio answers the call according to its intelligent personalization engine, and decides how to best route it. Once we find the right person, we can transfer the call back to your phone system.
For making phone calls, you can initiate them from the Ringio Desktop or Ringio Mobile application. Then, Ringio calls both your contact and calls you, and helps connect both.

No. In fact, you can try Ringio for free, for 30 days. If you like it, you just keep it and we’ll charge your card once a month. If you don’t, simply cancel within 30 days and your card won’t be charged. You can cancel Ringio any time.

Yes. A few ways to accomplish this:
For numbers your customers call to get hold of the company:
- If you have a toll free number with a telecom company, get a local phone number from Ringio and instruct your phone company to forward the toll-free number to your new Ringio local number.
- If you have a toll-free number with a hosted service, get a local phone number from Ringio. Then, log in to the service and set up a transfer option to your new Ringio local number.
- If you have a local number or if you have a toll-free number but would rather end your relationship with the existing provider, you can “port” or “resporg” the number to Ringio. We help customers with the porting of phone numbers once they have a paying account. Simply let us know through the Ringio Support Center.
For direct numbers to employees:
- If it’s a cell phone – you can set unconditional call forwarding from the cell phone to a Ringio number. Ringio then answers and can send the call to another phone (e.g. a personal cell phone).
- If it’s a plain old fixed number, you may have to call your telecom provider to ask them to set the forwarding.
- Or you can “port” or “resporg” the number to Ringio. We help customers with the porting of phone numbers once they have a paying account. Simply let us know through the Ringio Support Center (http://support.ringio.com)

The process involves filling a form that we will send you and takes 2 to 3 weeks, because of all the parties involved. We charge a fee of $35.
We can help you request vanity numbers and they start at $49. Let us know what number you would like so we can check availability with our providers and pricing. This saves you the trouble and time delay of buying the number else where and transferring them over to us.
Yes you can. But we would have to port the number from that other company to Ringio first.
Your plan includes one number for your company, and optionally, one phone number for each employee. Beyond your included number, you can create any additional local of toll free numbers for your company for $10 per month.
You have 30 days of unlimited Ringio use. If you’d like to secure the phone numbers you use in the trial for permanent use, you can subscribe at any point during the trial.
We are committed to you. You, on the other hand, don’t have to, at all.
You can cancel anytime from the Ringio website. Simply log in to your account, click on “Billing” and then click on “Cancel”.
